My week so far: Back in the game
This week I feel “back in the game”.
I’ve been waking up before 5am each day, stacking wins, and getting shit done (my favorite).
I’m doing a challenge with the community – get out of bed by 5am each day in February.
If you’d like to join us it’s happening in The Activation Collective (link at the bottom of this email).
Crazy to think it’s already February of 2025 haha!
Balancing patience with urgency is key.
How’s your week going?
What I am working on
In my personal life: Half marathon training, and daily studies.
I signed up for a half marathon on February 16th. It was time to dial in my fitness, and do something that aligns me more with my new identity: hybrid athlete.
Bodybuilding is comfortable to fall back into. But, it’s not going to be the reason I complete a long spartan race or win a jiu jitsu competition.
Time to evolve.
Secondly, I began doing 1 hour or more per day of studies.
I once heard: “education without implementation is masturbation.”
Learning a lot, AND applying what I learn.
In my professional life: I got going, now it’s time to get good.
I’ve been consistent:
- Posting content daily.
- Working with my clients.
- Building new skills.
- Making money.
Now my focus is on leveling up the quality, as I keep up the quantity.
I’m all in, and it’s only a matter of time before things take off even more.
In my financial life: Falling in love with financial literacy.
I decided to make money one of the topics I talk about moving forwards.
I’m already documenting my process to:
- Pay off all consumer debt.
- Build another multiple 6 figure business.
- Invest in income producing assets.
May as well share what I am learning, and fall in love with it!
So far I’ve learned a lot:
- Profit 1st for business – Take a % upfront of any income generated, and set it aside for profit.
- Automating finances – Installed a system to split any income I generate. Now the minute I make money, it’s saved and transferred to different accounts.
- Live lean – Always ask “how can I live on less?”. Cut unnecessary expenses, negotiate with service providers, and save as much as possible.
Reply and let me know what you are working on this week!
Weekly win and miss
My win: Stepped back into my power.
Each day is an opportunity to be out of my comfort zone, and face my fears.
What I am doing is terrifying, not going to lie.
But, it’s my calling so I can’t chicken out lol.
Back in a winning mentality, and ready to put my head down again.
My miss: I can’t be a lazy stoner (again).
In my past life I was a total pothead.
It’s easy for me to fall back into that pattern.
I’d be lying if I said I don’t love weed… but it doesn’t benefit me in my day to day life.
When used as a medicine, and occasionally – it’s awesome.
If used as a crutch – it’s not.
At least for who I need to show up as in my life.
Guru from the 90’s rap group Gang Starr said it best:
“Dark clouds over my head, my heart’s racing
Suicide? Nah, I’m not a foolish guy
Don’t even feel like drinkin’ or even gettin’ high’
Cause all that’s gonna do really, is accelerate–The anxieties that I wish I could alleviate
But, wait – I’ve been through a whole lot of other shit before
So, I oughta be able to withstand some more…”
You can listen to the song here if you’d like.
A resource for you: The books that made me who I am
Today I felt like sharing a few of my favorite books with you.
If you want to grow mentally and spiritually:
- The Untethered Soul: You will awaken more spiritually after reading this book.
- As A Man Thinketh: Short, and powerful book on how our mind works.
- Outwitting The Devil: Explains how the world pulls us off course, and what to do about it.
- The Way Of The Superior Man: Not only for men… the best book I’ve read to help me understand myself, and how to create healthy relationships.
- The Alchemist: Amazing storybook packed with unforgettable life lessons.
If you want to have more money:
- The Richest Man In Babylon: Saving money made simple.
- Rich Dad Poor Dad: Teaches how the rich think, and act when it comes to money.
If you want to improve your skills and productivity:
- Atomic Habits: How to stay consistent, and make getting great results easy.
- The One Thing: The best productivity book I’ve read so far.
What am I reading right now?
I’ve stepped fully into living like a writer.
Books everywhere in my house. Reading several at once. Hunting for ideas and solutions constantly.
Right now I am finishing:
Atomic Habits – One of the best books I’ve ever read.
Think and Grow Rich – Read it years ago, but it didn’t resonate like it does now.
The Ultimate Sales Letter – Learning how to write and sell with my writing.
More on the way lol.
Question or answer: If you could wave a magic wand…
This week I want to ask you a question.
If you could wave a magic wand, what problem would you solve in your life right now?
I would love to hear! Reply and let me know.
You can also reply if you want me to answer a question.
In case you missed it: In Saturdays Issue, I covered how to do less and succeed more.
You can read it here.
