My week so far: Drink your own kool-aid
This week I am feeling a deep sense of conviction.
The plants we see in nature first begin as a seed, it can be no other way.
They do not spring from nothingness, there is always a cause (the seed) before an effect (the plant).
Any circumstance in the outer world, first begins as a seed in our mind known as a thought.
We cannot control our circumstances, but we can control our thoughts… which create our circumstances.
For the world to believe in me, and what I create… I first must believe in me, and what I create.
No one will drink my kool-aid if I don’t.
For us to realize our vision in the outer world, we must first own it in our internal world.
“To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see.”
This conviction is the knowing that the things I imagine in my mind are the glimpses of my future. The belief in myself. Drinking my own kool-aid.
As I think, I create.
What I am working on
In my personal life: I am working on integrity.
Integrity – the state of being whole and undivided.
Being one with myself: my thoughts, my feelings, my actions.
Walking my talk. Leading myself. Cleaning up my act.
Being aligned in all things.
It’s more than being honest. It’s being completely congruent in ourselves, and our lives.
“How would my ideal self think, and act in this moment?”
In my professional life: IMPORTANT UPDATE.
Let’s get raw, shall we? Excuse my language, and this later in the day newsletter in advance.
I wrote this newsletter originally this week after being told I was getting offered a job… to be told a few days later they hired someone else and forgot to tell me.
My whole “plan” went out the window.
This is the second time it’s happened like this, and I am taking it as a sign that going back to a 9-5 isn’t my path.
I know that deep down but when you are scared shitless it’s easy to cave in to comfort.
Then a close family member got diagnosed with cancer this week… and it’s safe to say I am burning red hot right now.
Am I going to give up?
Fuck that.
Over my dead body.
I am going all in on my online business, there is no plan b.
“
If you want to take the island, burn the boats.
— Julius Caesar
Whether I wanted to burn them or not, my boats are burned… and I am taking the fucking island.
It’s time to put my money where my mouth is, and show all of you (and myself) that I am not about theory… I am a walking talking example of what I preach.
Two years ago I was earning $250,000 / year no problem with $20-100,000 in the bank on average.
Today, after investing over $100,000 into myself and taking major risks to chase my dreams: moving across the country, running retreats, etc… I have zero income at the moment and over $100,000 in debt.
So, here’s what is going to happen:
I am on a mission to collect $25,000 in cash by January 19th. I will do this by finding 10-15+ new 1-on-1 clients for my program The Activation Experience.
These clients will take advantage of my absolutely insane New Years offer.
To find 10-15+ new clients, I will need to reach out to a lot of people.
How many?
Well if you factor in average conversion rates of .5%-1% for cold outreach that would mean I need to reach out to 1,500-3,000 people.
So, each day I will spend no less than 3 focused hours personally contacting as many people as possible.
A bad day would be 70 people, a good day would be 150.
Business is a numbers game.
Talk to enough people, you will make money… especially when what you are “selling” is a no brainer and helps people profoundly.
Over the next 30 days (starting tomorrow) I will send over 1,500 people:
- 3 emails
- 2 texts
And I will be posting on social media 1-2x per day with the occasional promotion thrown in to drive people to my newsletter, and offerings.
Here’s the takeaway for you:
If you’ve ever felt like life was pushing you to step up and finally take action—this is your sign. I’m sharing this journey not just to inspire, but to show what’s possible when you bet on yourself.
It isn’t about money. It’s about creating a future where I can support my family, show up for my purpose, and help others unlock their potential. I’ll be damned if I don’t make this happen for us all.
Let’s get to Fucking work!
I’ll be documenting everything—the behind-the-scenes, the wins, the struggles—and sharing the tools, strategies, and lessons I’m using to make it happen.
If you want to see how someone turns a dream into reality, keep following along.
2025 is the year where we all thrive in mind, body, spirit, and bank account.
Weekly win and miss
My win: I had the opportunity to be the videographer for a men’s retreat over the weekend. Learned a lot, and enjoyed practicing my skills.
My miss: I did not meet my deadline of getting my G.S.D. System launched. Not keeping promises to ourselves is the biggest miss.
A resource for you: As I think I create
If you asked me “What is the book you think everyone should read?”
Here’s what I would recommend.
There is a book called As a man thinketh by James Allen.
It published in 1902 and has been changing lives for over 100 years.
One of my mentors then took the book, and rewrote it in the first person… making it even more powerful to read.
It’s so short you could read it in an hour, but it’s so deep that you will need more time than that.
Your brain will never be the same again.
Rather than have you go buy it online…
Here is a copy of the top secret PDF.
The garden of my mind used to be full of weeds
“
Your mind is a garden, your thoughts are the seeds. The harvest can either be flowers or weeds.
— William Wordsworth
Had I let my mind remain in it’s default settings… I wouldn’t be alive today.
I would’ve ended up ending my life, or overdosing on drugs. At the very least I would be a complete degenerate.
My environment growing up corrupted my mind.
- Abuse as a kid left me with a vile inner critic. I was my own worst enemy.
- Addictive tendencies left me unable to make it through the day without vices. Pornography and weed became my crutch.
You get the idea. My mind was full of weeds, and they grew thicker by the day.
Teachings found in As a man thinketh saved my life.
In the book there is a quote
“I am made or unmade by myself; in the armoury of thought I forge the weapons by which I destroy myself; I also fashion the tools with which I build for myself heavenly mansions of joy and strength and peace.”
Mastering my mind is our only option.
You can’t choose out of “the game”.
Your mind will act as a powerful tool for you, or weapon against you.
All you can choose to do is plant seeds for flowers, and tend to the weeds… or allow your garden to become a disaster.
I recommend you read this book.
Question or answer – How do I make more friends or romantic connections?
A man at the retreat I was at this weekend asked me this.
He felt that he lacked the social skills needed to date, or make friends.
Here’s what I told him:
You can’t connect with anyone else unless you’re connected with yourself.
When you “need” to connect with others you push them away. They can sense your neediness, and lack of self esteem.
But, when you are connected with and value yourself you become a magnet.
People feel drawn into you.
We connect to ourselves by “dating” ourselves first.
- We begin to notice ourself in a positive way.
- They will teach us about ourself and build our social skills.
- Giving ourself what we need to feel our best.
Now people can’t help but notice you, and connect with you.
It all starts with us. People are a mirror to the relationship we have with ourselves.
Hope this helps you like it’s helped me, and the man at the retreat.
