My week so far: A little thing called obsession
This week I’m returning back to center.
You ever been so obsessed with something that it consumes you?
That’s been me as of late.
This challenge and season of life has reignited within me a fire that won’t be put out again.
Fire can provide or it can destroy.
Over the last week I let myself burn a bit too hot, and ended up pulling an all nighter (unintentionally) on Sunday to get some things done.
That’s where obsession damn near becomes possession.
For this week I’m focused on harmony.
Balancing things out so I can keep a steadier pace.
How’s your week going?
What I am working on
In my personal life: Self care.
When we take care of ourselves, everything takes care of itself.
If we don’t, well you know… things get a bit chaotic.
I let my self care slip as mentioned above, and so this week I’m recalibrating:
- Sleeping 7+ hours per night.
- Eating a ton of high quality food.
- Training everyday for strength, presence, athleticism, mobility, and endurance.
- Following my morning and evening process for proper start up, and shut down.
The best part?
Everything I mentioned above is very easy when I choose to lean on my habits.
It doesn’t take discipline once it becomes automatic.
If you’d like to set yourself up with something similar, be sure to check out today’s resource below.
In my professional life: Skillset.
If you saw behind the scenes: you’d be overwhelmed.
I used to be. Now it’s become a game I am slowly mastering.
How? Skills.
This week I am focused on improving my writing.
When my writing improves:
- I create better content: newsletters, videos, and posts.
- I make more money: group members, 1on1 clients, and calls booked.
- I feel empowered: self reflection, planning, and generating awesome ideas.
- I communicate well: thoughts, sentences, and speech all become more articulate.
It’s the one skill that ties into all the others.
Other things I am working on:
- The Challenge: I’ve began to gain clients, and make money… (more on that below) but I fell behind on the game plan. Time to pivot, and double down.
- My New Website: In order to be more organized and systematic I upgraded my website and landing pages to a new platform. Will share it soon.
- Business Plan: Building processes, and using tools to decrease my workload and increase my results.
In my financial life: Systems.
In order to be on track to hit my one financial goal this year, I’ve put in place some systems.
- Automatically save 50% of every dollar I earn.
It goes into an account I can’t touch unless for emergency, or making an investment. - Automating my budget and transactions.
I use a tool called Co-Pilot to track my transactions and income. It’s a Birdseye view of my financed.
Last time I followed this plan to a tee: I saved $10’s of thousands in a year, and had no debt besides my car. Time to get back to that place.
Weekly win and miss
My win: Gained some new clients and made over $4,000 in the last week!! The plan is working.
I also ran a powerful breathwork session on Sunday. Seeing people come together, and supporting their growth feels amazing. There’s nothing better than fulfilling your purpose.
My miss: Disrupting my sleep schedule (for the 1,000,000th time).
Sometimes my drive and passion take me along for the ride. No excuses, will improve.
A resource for you: The only tool you need to get amazing results

Why I created it
By age 20, I thought I had it all figured out.
On the outside, I was crushing it:
- Making six figures.
- In great shape.
- Respected by everyone around me.
But really, I wasn’t okay.
One day I’d feel unstoppable, but the next feeling like I was failing at everything.
The pressure was suffocating, and it drove me to burnout, unhealthy habits, and some of the darkest moments of my life.
It felt like I was on a pendulum—one moment, I was crushing it, but the next, I was spiraling, undoing all the progress I’d made.
I’d start the day feeling fired up, but by the end, I’d be drowning in self-doubt, wondering, ‘Why can’t I just get it together?’
I was reading every self-help book, watching all the videos, and trying to piece together the perfect routine… but nothing seemed to stick.
Eventually, I hit a wall. Something had to change. I had to face the patterns that were holding me back, shift my mindset, and learn how to align my actions with the life I actually wanted.
Through that I realized the problem wasn’t how much I was doing—it was the fact that I was trying to do it all without a clear vision or system.
I was running hard, but in the wrong direction.
That’s when I decided something had to change.
I stopped searching for shortcuts and started looking inward, mapping out exactly what I wanted and what was holding me back.
I know what it feels like to know you’re capable of more but not know how to get out of your own way.
Or to accomplish everything you thought you wanted, just to realize it’s empty without a deeper why.
So now… I’ve taken all I’ve learned and compiled it into a simple, and holistic system called Get Shit Done (or G.S.D. for short).
After consulting with hundreds of high performers like you, and me… and helping them get some amazing results: I realized we are all so similar.
Enjoy. It will change your life and results quickly.
Question or answer – How long do I need to workout for?
Last week I was chatting with a community member on our weekly support call.
He said “How long do I need to be in the gym? I sometimes guilt myself to stay as long as possible so I don’t feel like I’m being lazy.”
Great question.
What if I told you most days I only train for 30-45 minutes?
Gasp.
The days of 2-3 hour workouts are gone.
We train for results (how we look and feel), not vanity metrics (hours in the gym).
Here’s the truth:
Most people “workout”. Very few people “train”.
Working out is going through the motions, showing up, but not with any real intensity.
I used to workout for hours.
Training is having a plan, pushing yourself as hard as you can within reason, and tracking your progress over time. There’s no need to be in the gym for hours.
Less done with the right intensity, is more.
- Make a plan: what are you training? how many sets, and reps? what exercises?
- Push yourself more each workout: one more rep or a few more pounds than last time.
- Track your progress and results over time: weight gained or lost, progress photos, and meal plan.
Hope this helps!
